C-CUBE
Feasibility study of a CubeSat mission for advanced telemetry, communications and signal monitoring
C-TOP - Carinthian Traffic Optimizer
CAFS - Commercial ASIC Foundries for Space Applications
The main goal is to optimise the cost function of such a commercial ASIC component qualification for space use by understanding all technological constraints. The results enable us to guide and support a subcontractor, which is inexperienced in space technologies, due to its background in the terrestrial market.
CASIMO - Carrier Signal Monitoring
CASIMO2 - Carrier Signal Monitoring
CASIMO2 is a seamless enhancement of the carrier monitoring system based on and driven by customer requirements concerning the implementation of DSP based polarization discrimination measurements combined with enhanced demodulation functionality and satellite performance measurements.
CDPP - Configurable Data Processing Platform
The project comprised the identification of existing technologies such as signal processors, general purpose microprocessors as well as ASICs and FPGAs, and the design of possible DSP architectures, two of which were evaluated in the course of the project.
CDSM Consolidation
Consolidation of the preliminary Coupled Dark State Magnetometer (CDSM) design for the European JUICE mission
CDSM TRL-Uplift - Uplift of the Technology Readiness Level of the Coupled Dark State Magnetometer
The aim of this project was to raise the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of a new type of scalar magnetometer called Coupled Dark State Magnetometer (CDSM). Advantages of the CDSM are the uncomplicated sensor design, the high dynamic range of more than 6 decades and the omni-directional measurement capability without additional design complexity.
CDSM-FS - Feasibility Study of a Coupled Dark State Magnetometer (CDSM)
In the frame of this project a feasibility study of a new type of scalar magnetometer called Coupled Dark State Magnetometer (CDSM) was carried out. It included the investigation of its technical readiness and scientific merit for space applications, the concept for a TRL 5 (component and/or breadboard validation in relevant environment) compliant design, a detailed investigation of key components as well as the identification of possible challenges for a reliable operation in space.
CHAMPCLIM - Climate Monitoring Based on the CHAMP/GPS Radio Occultation Experiment
The overall aim of CHAMPCLIM is to exploit research satellite CHAMPsradio occultation data in the best possible manner for their most challenging application, which is climate monitoring.
COALA.NT - Conflict Avoiding Low Cost Application by using New Technologies
The clue idea of COALA.NT is to stronger involve the engine driver in the decisions of the operational traffic management. COALA.NT is a bi-directional, detection-based, innovative information system for operators and enginedrivers on railroad lines with small traffic volume.
COMP-DAMAGE - Damage Assessment of Fibre Reinforced Composite Materials Exposed to Cryogenic Environments
compact-PTR-TOF-MS - Development of a Compact Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer for Suborbital Research on the Earth's Atmospheric Composition
Contamination Traps - In-orbit Contamination Traps Based on Sol-Gel Coatings
In the project the feasibility of coatings as molecular contamination traps to protect optically sensitive or contamination critical payloads was investigated.
CORD - Commodity GPS Receiver Development
The CORD activity aims at preserving the competitiveness of RUAG Space in the context of GPS receivers for future missions by performing the delta developments necessary to obtain a commodity GPS receiver, compliant with most of the future precise orbit determination (POD) receivers’ requirements.
CORDIM
Diagnostics of coronal dimmings associated with solar coronal mass ejections
CoReH2O Science - Scientific Preparation for the Snow Hydrology Mission CoReH2O
CoReH2O will deliver detailed spatial data on key parameters of the global snow and ice masses for applications in climate research and hydrology.
COSA - Core Solar Array Drive Electronics
The study aimed to investigate the actual requirements of manufacturers of SADMs, motors and satellite primes and to build and test a breadboard incorporating an innovative voltage control concept.
