FLIXDATE - Floating Ski Data by GNSS
The FLIXDATE project intends to develop a demonstration system for alpine ski sport traffic analysis, traffic routing and collision avoidance on ski slopes. Detection of dangerous zones and management of ski traffic based on floating ski data lead to increased safety and traffic performance on ski slopes.
FRESSCO - Searching the Link Between Fretting Tests and Shaker Tests for Cold Welding
The project covers a detailed investigation of fretting phenomena during launch. The main challenge is to simulate conditions expected during the launch of a satellite. One part (one material) is subjected to very high acceleration and frequency while a second moves "freely" on it. Furthermore, the project will cover a review of requirements for testing, design, set-up and verification.
FRPBonding - Bonding Technologies for Fibre Reinforced Plastic
The goal of this project was to identify the best adhesive to avoid disbonding between metal and fibre reinforced plastic.
FarmSupport - Assessing the Potential of Farmer Mobile Information Services for Agricultural Decision Support
FarmSupport aims at developing a proof-of-concept application that will provide farmers in Ethiopia and Kenya with weather forecasts and soil moisture information. This information service is intended to help farmers in making agricultural decisions. Weather information is of value to farmers, but has suffered in the past due to problems with getting the information to the farmer.

G2real - Galileo-based GMES Real-time Emergency Support Testbed, Real-time Exercise and Development of Services
The overall aim of G2real is to develop and test new preoperational GMES services in the field of emergency and disaster management and rescue operations by integrating software and hardware solutions developed by 11 partners in three countries (AUT, GER, ES) and by testing and utilising the possibilities of Galileo navigation.
GAIMS 2
GNSS Airport Interference Monitoring System including Localization Capabilities
GALIMET - Application of Satellite-based Location Services for Warnings against Hazardous Weather
The GALIMET project is a satellite based system, which generates warnings transmitted by mobile phones to the users in case of severe weather.
GATE - Generic ASIC Test Environment
The Generic ASIC Test Environment (GATE), that has been developed in the present project, is a tool for the time-saving and cost-effective verification and validation of ASICs and FPGAs for satellite on-board electronics.
GEDI-Sens
GEDI meets the Sentinels: Exploration of the Mutual Benefits from Joint Use of GEDI and Sentinel-1 / Sentinel-2 data
GEOID+ - Improved Austrian Geoid Solution Combining Terrestrial and Satellite Gravity Data
The main objective of the project GEOID+ is the computation of an improved geoid model for the Austrian territory, as acombined solution from terrestrial gravity field data and satellite-related data from the dedicated gravity field missions GRACE and GOCE, which shall stabilize the solution in the long to medium wavelength domain.
GEOnAUT - The Austrian Geoid 2007
A new Austrian geoid model has been computed as a combined solution of local terrestrial gravity field observations (gravity anomalies, deflections of the vertical, "direct" geoid observations obtained by a difference between geometric heights derived from GPS observations, and orthometric heights derived from spirit levelling), and global gravity field information based on data of the satellite gravity mission GRACE.
GFPF - Gravity Field Processing Facility
Based on the successful work performed in the project GOCEDAPC, the main objective of GFPF is the implementation and integration of a fully operable software system for the processingof an optimum Earth’s gravity field model based on the data of ESA’s satellite gravity mission GOCE (Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explorer), combining orbit observations derived from GPS satellite-to-satellite tracking and the analysis of the GOCE gravity gradiometer data.
GIOMO - Next Generation Near Real-time Ionospheric Models
The objectives of the GIOMO (next Generation near real-time IOnospheric MOdels) project were the identification and consolidation of improved ionospheric modelling technologies, the software implementation of a selected refined model, and the final integration into the existing OEGNOS (Austrian EGNOS data server) software in order to improve the positioning accuracy for this augmentation service and thus to foster user acceptance.
GMES and VIENNA - City of VIENNA – a "GMES-USER" and/or "GMES-PROVIDER"?
The project analysed to what degree individual municipal departments could take the role of a "GMES-USER" or a "GMES-PROVIDER" and how such a role could efficiently support them in fulfilling their tasks. This was an explorative undertaking, focussing on the GMES Domain Land. It included information gathering, joint learning, technical analyses and a systematic screening of municipal tasks.
