Development of the Router and Data Compression Unit (RDCU) for the Plato Project
Short Description
Contents and Goals
The goal of this project is to build the prototype for the Router and Data Compression Unit to demonstrate:
- proof of concept
- Maximum data rate of 100Mbps via Spacewire achievable
- Improve present Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 to TRL 5
Expected Results
Furthermore the final specification for the RDCU and the specification and the detailed design for the compressor shall be established.
