Organizer

GSV - Austrian Association for Transport and Infrastructure in cooperation with Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT)

Content Description

With Galileo, Europe has the first civilian-controlled satellite navigation and positioning system in operation. Since July 25, 2018, 26 of total 30 satellites are in orbit. Together with the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS), the accuracy of satellite navigation will be further improved with Galileo. Numerous applications are now possible - also in the field of mobility.

This GSV forum offers an overview of possible applications in the mobility sector and beyond.
