SMASH

The aim is to develop a GNSS-supported demonstrable prototype (pair) of a smart shin pad. A robust Multi-GNSS and Multi-Receiver Positioning Shin Guard Solution and an integrated inertial measurement unit will be used to measure football specific activities.

A mobile analysis application evaluates the recorded data statistically according to sports scientific aspects, whereby the user or trainer receives a performance analysis.

At the end of the project, the successful prototype will be demonstrated to a marketer (see LOI) who is the market leader in the field of wearable sensors in Austria.
