IMPACT - Phase 0+A
Short Description
Presently, CubeSat missions are limited due to the unavailability of a propulsion system small, light and powerful enough for a use on a CubeSat. The proposed feasibility study has the goal to change this by exploiting Austrian technologies and competences in the field of propulsion technology and photovoltaic. Aside from a detailed look at the individual technologies, a system study will merge those in a CubeSat concept called IMPACT (Integrated Mission Platform for Austrian CubeSat Technology), providing a high ?v capability (up to 4500m/s) with a high power available for the payload.
