Time variable gravity observed by GPS derived orbit positions

Short Description

Primary goal of this project is to derive large scale mass transports in the Earth system from positions of Low Earth Orbiters equipped with a GNSS receiver. At the moment this is hardly possible, because state of the art methods are degraded by systematic influences and are not able to provide sufficient accuracy. To reach this goal a new approach for kinematic orbit estimation will be investigated and implemented.
