Women in Aerospace (WIA) Austria

Content Description

WIA Austria is a local chapter affiliated with the internationally recognized Women in Aerospace Europe, a non-for-profit organisation committed to promoting female talent and leadership across all levels of the European aerospace sector.

While welcoming the progress made in the past decades in accelerating the growth of female talent in the aerospace industry, WIA-Europe is recognising that there are still considerable pay gaps, underrepresentation and inequality that need to be addressed.

We are excited to launch Women in Aerospace Austria, which is providing a necessary platform for women to network, cooperate and thrive in the aerospace field. Our aim is to empower women, encourage collaboration, and promote diversity in this dynamic industry.

Judith Delany, Local Group Leader of WIA Austria

The WIA-Austria Launch event aims to contribute to the ongoing "gender equality" discourse and serve as a source of inspiration and empowerment for aspiring women in the field.
