ESA Commercialisation Days: Health and Biotech

Content Description
A combination of demographic, market and technology trends is having a profound effect on the transformation of the healthcare sector. The increasing digitalisation of healthcare, emerging new technologies as well as business models, opens up new possibilities at the crossroad of space technologies and health.
Collaboration between institutions, research organisations, industry and investors within space and health will be key to enable a new wave of commercial solutions supporting both sectors.
On the 19th of April, the ESA Commercialisation Gateway will therefore be organising its ESA Commercialisation Day event bringing together these key actors as well as opening up to the public to attend.
The event will be the first in its series focussing on health and biotech and held at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
Program
The day will be split into 3 sessions:
- Medical and Biomedical Research
- Telemedicine and Digital Health
- Public Health management
Each session including keynotes, elevator pitches from the ESA start-up community, roundtable discussions and break out sessions for networking.
Target Audience
The event aims to bring together key actors as well as interested public.
