Starting from the 28th of October the Aerospace Engineering Department of the University of Applied Sciences (FHWN) invites to Open Lecture seminars. The covered issues range from "Career Paths Aerospace Engineering", "Flight Simulation", "Space Structures", "Modeling Vortex Dynamics" to "Space Radiation Environment and its Effects".

28.10.2022 - Career Paths Aerospace Engineering

Guest Speakers Alvaro Sempere and Varun Nandyala, both Alumni share their current work experiences and how they relate to their master studies at FHWN.

11.11.2022 - Flight Simulation

Guest Speaker Dr. Johann Schwandtner (Managing Director, COO, JFJ GmbH) talks about human motion perception and its application in motion simulation with special interest in pilot education and training.

25.11.2022 - Space structures - Practical Design and Integration

Guest Speakers Ing. Robert Popela Ph.D and Ph.D. Václav Lazar (Brno University of Technology) will cover "Highlights form successful projects related to space vehicles and devices design, manufacturing and integration."

09.12.2022 - Modeling Vortex Dynamics

Guest Speaker Dr.-Ing. Mar­kus Rüt­ten (DLR - German Aerospace Center Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology) talks about Common Modeling Approaches in Vortex Dynamics and Generalized Newtonian Fluids.

13.01.2023 - Space Radiation Environment and its Effects

Guest Speaker Mag. DI Christoph Tscherne (Engineer Radiation Hardness Assurance and Space Weather Radiation Protection Dosimetry, Seibersdorf Labor GmbH) tells how Satellite Electronics are tested against Space Radiation.
