ECSL Practitioners' Forum "Future Satellite Applications: Legal and Regulatory Aspects"

The event will be organized by the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) and focus on recent developments in the use of artificial intelligence in satellite technology, quantum based satellite communications and blockchain capabilities from a legal and policy perspective.

Content Description

The ECSL Practitioners' Forum aims at providing those involved in the space sector with an opportunity to network and discuss topical areas of space law and policy. It should be an interactive and discourse oriented event, each topic being covered by panels of specialists from academia, science and technology as well as industry. Highly qualified experts will discuss some of the most pertinent legal and policy aspects of the use of artificial intelligence in satellite technology, quantum based satellite communications and blockchain capabilities.

The Practitioners' Forum will feature the following panels:

  • Articifial Intelligence and Satellite Technology
  • Blockchain Capabilities in Outer Space
  • Quantum based satellite communication

Target Audience

Exceptionally this year, due to the online format, also non-ECSL members are invited to participate and register for the event.
