ESA/ECSL Executive Course
The ESA/ECSL Executive Course is organised by the Legal Services Department of the European Space Agency (ESA) together with the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) and aims at providing a structured introduction on space law and policy regulations to government representatives and industry professionals.
Program
During the three day-program, the following topics will be discussed:
- Introduction to space law and space governance
- National space legislation: Rationale, content and development
- Regulatory and technical requirements for clearing a space mission
- Standardisation
- Export control
- Typologies of space contracts
- Space debris mitigation
- Long-term Sustainability Guidelines
- Filing for frequencies
- Space object registration
The course fee of €600 also includes a hosted dinner on 10 November and a cocktail on 12 November. ESA plans to provide a technical tour of the European Space Technology and Research Centre (ESTEC) as well.
