ECSL Young Lawyers' Symposium
The event will be organized by the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) and focus on the legal value of non-binding instruments for space activities, the legal regime for Mars, and new legal aspects of satellite remote sensing.
The Young Lawyers' Symposium provides the opportunity for early career scholars and professionals to present a space law related topic in an international forum, to exchange ideas and to network amongst themselves.
The Young Lawyers' Symposium will feature three panels with considerations of legal aspects concerning:
- The legal consequences of non-binding instruments in space law
- Do we need a new legal regime for Mars?
- New legal aspects of satellite remote sensing
After all speakers have presented their topic, the Chair of the panel will facilitate a discussion.
Target AudienceSpeakers will be young scholars and professionals under the age of 35. Although the deadline for submission of abstracts has already passed, interested individuals can still join the Young Lawyers' Symposium as a viewer.
